Yosh, postingan kali ini akan membahas tentang Noun Phrases. Noun Phrases adalah frasa antara noun, pronoun, atau number (berfungsi sebagai head ) dan satu atau lebih modifier . Frasa ini digunakan ketika single noun tidak cukup spesifik untuk menunjuk suatu kata benda. Adjective + noun = noun phrase Ex : beautifull, good looking, wonderfull, etc Noun + noun + noun phrase Ex : Departmen store, school yard, Andi’s girlfriend, english departmen Article + noun = noun phrase Ex : The house, a pen, these books, this book Present participle (verb-ing) + noun = noun phrase Ex : Interesting lake, tiring day, sleeping bag Past participle (verb 3) + noun = noun phrase Ex : Exhousted child, boiled egg, fired building
