Making Statement

Hmm...Hmm... Kembali lagi dengan materi bahasa Inggris. Kali ini, saya akan membahas materi tentang Making Statement atau kalau ditranslete kan berbunyi membuat pernyataan. Pernyataan lo yaa bukan pertanyaan. Hehee~. Oke, langsung saja simak contoh dibawah ini

S + P (VERB/TOBE) + O

1. Verbal sentence

Ex : -Adik duduk dikursi

My younger brother sits on the cair

-Mereka mengenakan seragam sekolah

They wear school uniform

1. Simple Present
2. Simple Past

-Adik saya telah memegang jendela

My younger sister handled the window

-Seluruh mahasiswa telah berkumpul diaula

All university students assembled in the hall

C. Present Continous tense

-Saya sedang mendengarkan kuliah

I am listening lecture

-Dia sedang memanggilku

He is calling me

D. Future Tense

-Saya akan melanjutkan belajar di Politeknik Negeri Madiun

I will continue my study in State Politeknik of Madiun

-Saya akan melamar pekerjaan di pabrik kertas

I will apply the job in paper factory

Pattern

1. Simple present : S + V1 s/es + O

2. Simple past : S + V2 + O

3. Present cont : S + tobe ( is, am, are ) + O

4. Future : S + Will + V1 + O

2. Nominal

S + P ( tobe ) + O

1. Simple present : S + tobe ( is, am, are ) + O

-Saya seorang ketua kelas

I am a class leader

-Dia malas

She is lazy

2. Past tense : S + tobe ( was, were) + O

-Kemarin saya sedih sekali

Yesterday I was so sad

-Dia marah kepadaku sore itu

She was angry with me that afternoon

3. Present Continous : S + tobe ( is, am, are ) + Being + O

-Mereka sedang berbahagia saat ini

They are being happy now

-Nenekku pahlawanku

My grandmother is being my heroine

4. Future tense : S + Will + Be + O

-Saya akan disana besok

I will be there tomorrow

-Dia akan jadi pilot tahun depan

He will be a pilot next year

1. Simple Present

Ex : A= He drops the glass on the floor

P= The glass is dropped by him on the floor

2. Past tense

Ex : A= My father drove the car carefully

P= The car was driven by my father carefully

S+Tobe (was,were)+V3+by+Object+Ket

3. Future

Ex : A= He will study Mathematics soon

P= Mathematics will be studied by him soon

4. Present continous tense

Ex : A= She is waiting for the attendantlist

P= The attendentlist is being waited for her

5. Present perfect

Ex : A= Aswin has attended the meeting on time

P= The meeting has been attended by Aswin on time
